Calcined Petroleum Coke
Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) is a solid carbon material with a black to dark gray colour, metallic luster, and micro-graphite crystalline structure. It is produced in granular, columnar, or acicular form and is widely used as a carbon source in metallurgical and chemical industries. In steelmaking, CPC regulates the furnace’s chemical composition, helps control alloy element content, and improves the hardness, strength, and overall properties of steel.
Applications
Production of Anode Paste and Prebaked Carbon Anodes for electrolytic aluminium.
Additive in graphite electrode and carbon raiser production; also used as fuel for silicon metal smelting.
Raw material for carbon additives and foaming agents.
Chemical industry use as a source of sodium hydride and high-purity CO.
